My mission is to reduce carbon emissions and create energy-efficient solutions that will drive the future of cooling technology.

Philip is a seasoned technology leader with over 27 years of experience in central plant design, industrial automation, variable speed centrifugal compressor development, and large-capacity chiller development. As the CTO of XNRGY’s Chiller Division, he oversees the development and implementation of innovative data center technologies, with a particular focus on liquid cooling solutions.

Philip has been instrumental in several groundbreaking projects, including the development of the revolutionary Turbocor magnetic bearing variable speed compressor. He has also received numerous accolades, such as the Danfoss EnVisioneering Award for the Sub-Zero chiller plant project, the 2014 International IDEA Award for the PEPCO Energy Services Inc. district cooling plant project, and the 2024 International IDEA Award for the Royal York Hotel Decarbonization project.

In addition to his role at XNRGY, Philip serves as a third-party consultant. He has worked on numerous hyperscale data center projects, designing and commissioning facilities with capacities ranging from 10 to 200 MW. His extensive experience has provided him with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in the data center industry and has made him a sought-after consultant for large-scale data center cooling solutions.
